Dprofy Magnetic Golf GPS Speaker with Touchscreen

I’ve been really impressed with the Dprofy Magnetic Golf Speaker. The magnet is strong and holds securely to the golf cart, even when riding over rough or bumpy paths. The sound is clear, loud, and much better than I expected from a compact speaker. Bluetooth connects quickly, and the battery life is excellent for a full day on the course. I also really like having the golf/GPS features available while playing. It’s convenient, easy to use, and saves me from carrying multiple gadgets. Great addition to my golf bag

I picked up this Dprofy GPS speaker for regular rounds, and having access to over 43,000 courses has covered every place I've played so far without needing to manually input course data. The touchscreen display has been easy to read and navigate, quick to check distances without fumbling through complicated menus mid-round.

Visual and audible distance announcements have added real convenience, letting me get yardage information without needing to stop and squint at a small screen during faster-paced rounds with a group. Hazard detection has been useful for course management, giving advance notice of trouble spots I might not have accounted for on unfamiliar courses.

IPX6 waterproofing has held up well through some unexpected rain during a round, no performance issues or water damage concerns. Battery life at 15+ hours has meant I'm not worrying about it dying mid-round, lasting through multiple rounds before needing a recharge.

There’s lots to like about the Dprofy Golf Speaker. Setup with my iPhone was super easy. I had the Bluetooth connected in a few seconds. I’m impressed with the sound quality. I didn’t have high hopes from this speaker, as I’ve never heard of the brand…but the sound is clear. Bass is a little lacking, but it’s still a small portable speaker. Everything else about this easily makes up of the lighter bass. Battery life is great, Bluetooth connectivity is better (long range with obstacles) than any other speaker I own. And the magnet is crazy strong. I suppose it would have to be, if you’re going to let the magnet be the only thing from preventing complete destruction of your brand new device. I think the overall cost for a speaker with golf GPS makes it a good value. I haven’t had a chance to take it out on the course, so I can’t comment on GPS accuracy, but the speaker requires an app to use the golf functions…so I assume it’s getting GPS data from your phone, rather than an internal GPS device.

This golf GPS speaker has honestly impressed me. It combines a very accurate GPS, a clear touchscreen display, a powerful Bluetooth speaker, and a very strong magnetic mounting system into one unit. After using it on the course, I can see why this one commands a higher price.

GPS Accuracy

The GPS has been extremely accurate in my experience. I’m seeing yardages that are accurate to within about a foot, which is excellent when you’re trying to make club selections. Having the distance information right on the speaker means I don’t have to constantly pull my phone out or rely on a separate GPS device.

The display also provides the information in a way that is easy to understand while you’re standing over your ball.

Excellent Display

The screen is one of my favorite features. It is clear, sharp, and very easy to read, even when playing in bright daylight or direct sunlight. That is important with a golf GPS because a screen that looks great indoors doesn’t necessarily work well outside. This one remains highly visible on the course.

The touchscreen is responsive and makes navigating the different information straightforward.

Extremely Strong Magnet

The magnetic mounting system is seriously strong. Once I attach it to a suitable metal surface on the cart, it stays put. It doesn’t bounce around or easily get knocked off when the cart is moving.

This is a major advantage because I don’t want to constantly worry about an expensive GPS speaker hitting the ground while I’m driving between holes. The magnet gives me a lot of confidence that it is going to stay where I put it.

Fantastic Sound Quality

The speaker itself sounds excellent. Audio is clear, full, and loud enough for use on the golf course. Whether I’m listening to music or using the device for its golf-related audio features, the sound quality is considerably better than I expected from a GPS unit.

It doesn’t feel like the manufacturer simply added a mediocre speaker as an extra feature—the speaker is genuinely good.

Overall Quality and Value

The construction feels solid and well made, and the combination of features makes this much more than just a basic golf GPS. You are getting a GPS, touchscreen display, Bluetooth speaker, and powerful magnetic mounting system in one device.

At nearly $180, this is definitely on the pricey side. However, after actually using it, I think the price is justified. If you’re looking for an inexpensive basic golf GPS, there are cheaper options. But if you want a premium all-in-one unit with excellent GPS accuracy, a highly visible screen, outstanding sound quality, and an exceptionally strong magnet, this is well worth considering.

Overall, this is an excellent golf accessory. The GPS accuracy, daylight-readable screen, powerful speaker, and rock-solid magnetic attachment make it a standout. It’s expensive, but in my opinion, it’s worth the money.

After putting this speaker through a full 18-hole round, I’m very impressed with how much functionality it offers. Instead of carrying a separate GPS and Bluetooth speaker, this gives me both in one compact unit, along with a few useful extras.

The speaker has plenty of volume for the golf course and stays clear even when turned up. I listened to several types of music throughout my round and was happy with the overall sound quality. Bass is decent for its size, although I wouldn’t consider it a bass-heavy speaker.

The 2.8-inch touchscreen is bright, easy to see, and provides much more functionality than a typical golf speaker. It can display time and music information, and when connected to the Dprofy app, it provides visual and audible GPS distances along with hazard information. The system supports more than 43,000 golf courses, which is a big plus if you play at different locations.

The app could use a little more refinement, particularly when navigating through the initial setup and getting a round started. Once I had my course selected and the round underway, however, it performed well and the GPS features were convenient and easy to use.

I was especially impressed by the magnetic mount. It grabbed securely onto the golf cart and didn’t budge throughout the round, even when driving over rough cart paths and making sharp turns.

Battery life is another major strength. I streamed music and used the GPS throughout all 18 holes, while also using the speaker to charge my phone. I finished the round with an incredible 86% battery still remaining. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t have any concerns taking this out for a long day or multiple rounds.

The IPX6 rating is also a nice feature for a device that’s going to spend most of its time outdoors and potentially encounter rain or splashes.

Overall, I’m really happy with this GPS speaker. It delivers good sound, useful course information, excellent battery performance, a very strong magnet, and the convenience of charging your phone when needed. The app has some room for improvement, but it didn’t take away from my experience once I started playing.

A versatile and well-designed golf accessory that I’ll definitely be keeping in my bag.
