Why We Created Dprofy – A Golf Speaker Brand Built on Course Frustration and Fun

It started with missed putts, rattling speakers, and silent fairways. And like many golfers, we thought—there has to be a better way.

I’ve played golf for 8 years. I’m not a sound engineer. I’ve never worked at a tech company. But I knew one thing—most Bluetooth speakers just aren’t made for golf.

They slip off the cart. The volume gets lost in the wind. The battery dies mid-round. And I’ve dropped more than one into a water hazard.

So we built Dprofy: a magnetic speaker that actually sticks, sounds clear from the tee to the green, and lasts your entire 18 holes.

👉 As Golf Digest discussesplaying music on the course has become increasingly common, especially among younger golfers seeking a more relaxed and enjoyable experience.

Our Approach Was Different

We didn’t overbuild it. No GPS gimmicks. No app bloat. Just waterproofing, dual pairing, and a magnet that actually holds. Every feature was designed from our own frustrations on the course.

👉 The National Golf Foundation reports that tech-enabled gear, especially audio and GPS tools, are driving a wave of new product categories tailored to younger, tech-savvy golfers.

Why Magnetic?

I once launched my speaker off a steep cart path. It cracked. That was the moment.

👉 Magnetic mounting has become a key differentiator in outdoor Bluetooth speakers, especially for golf, camping, and cycling setups, according to TechRadar.

If you’ve ever fumbled with a speaker mid-round, you’ll get why Dprofy exists. It’s not perfect. But it was built by real golfers. And that’s what makes it different.
